When I'm Gone
About

A small thing today, an enormous gift later.

When I'm Gone is a private, encrypted journal that gathers the practical information your family will need when you're no longer here. Not your passwords. The pointers — where the will is, who your solicitor is, which accounts exist, what you wanted at your funeral.

Why this exists

[Placeholder — Rita to write the founder story here. The hero card on the landing page already says "I built this because my own family didn't know where to start" — expand on that here with the personal motivation, a short anecdote, and what you hope it does for other families.]

What it is, and what it isn't

It is a practical companion to a will: the address book and instruction manual that a will doesn't cover.

It isn't a will. It isn't legal advice. It isn't a password manager. And it isn't a service that can read your information — even if we wanted to, we couldn't. Everything is encrypted on your device before anything leaves it.

Made in the UK

When I'm Gone Ltd is registered in England. The whole thing is built and run from the UK. Customer support comes from a real person, not a chatbot.
